In the past 64 years, we have gone through ups and downs; including civil war, natural disasters, Boko Haram insurgents, Banditry, EBOLA, COVID-19, e.t.c.
Within the same period, we have been under both the Military and Civilian administrations with different economic, fiscal and monetary policies with their attendant effects on our economy and people.
Presently, there is global economic meltdown with diverse affects on countries across all over the world.
On May 29, 2023 President Bola Tinubu pronounced the removal of fuel subsidy. It’s obvious that there are hardship due to high inflationary trend.
As we celebrate our Nation’s 64th independence anniversary today, let us continue think of the little way that we can also contribute to the growth and development of this nation.
Let us continue to pray for our nation – Nigeria and our leaders in positions of authority and desist from making negative pronouncements against our dear country.
