The Lagos State Council of National Union of Road Transport Worker’s hereby reiterate that we are not part and parcel of any industrial strike being planned by organized labour scheduled for tomorrow Monday the 3rd of June 2024.
In view of the aforementioned, all NURTW members are therefore enjoined to go about their normal day to day Union activities duties without any form of fear of intimidation or molestation.
We hereby use this medium to inundate the Public that normal Commercial Road Transport Services will be provided by our members across Lagos State and it’s environ.
Furthermore, it is our resolve that further deliberations and engagement between the Organized Labour and Federal Government to reach an amicable resolution on the Minimum Wage impasse, should take place.
