The Rivers State Chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, has expressed surprise over Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s recent remarks made by him at his reception of members of the National Union of Local Government Employees, NULGE, in Port Harcourt yesterday.

While speaking to NULGE members, the Governor vowed to surprise those who consider his implementation of the peace pact initiated by the President, Bola Hammed Tinubu, as a sign of weakness.

The party emphasized the importance of commitment to peace-building efforts and urged him to fulfill all the obligations specified in the reconciliation agreement he committed to.

The party therefore called on stakeholders, including the Federal Government, members of the international community, and lovers of democracy, to intervene to ensure that peace reigns in the state
