Mr. Adelakun Abayomi, FCA, ACTI and the immediate past chairman of Community Development Committee (CDC) has declared his intention to contest for the Chairmanship of Igbogbo/Bayeku
LCDA.
The statement release yesterday reads in path:
“My fellow good people of Igbogbo -Baiyeku LCDA starting from Igbogbo to Ibeshe,Elepe, Selewu, Baiyeku, Owode Ibelefun, Offin/ Oreta, Igbe, Oreyo and Agunfoye across the five political wards and in all the three hundred and sixty two Community Development Associations (CDA) in the ten zones, I Adelakun Abayomi (FCA, ACTI) hereby declare my intention to contest for the Chairmanship of IBLCDA after many months of speculations and anxieties from my constituents.
“After many months of consultations withhighly respected political leaders and passionate community developers, I humbly present myself as a Chairmanship Aspirant in the forthcoming Local Government Election.
“A good leader must be a servant with good track records especially in the areas such good family background, excellent education background, business, community relationships/development, respect for leaders, and positive contributions to his/ her immediate environment as demonstrated by humble self over the years.
“In the coming days I will come with a well packaged document detailing my programs/projects that would further accelerate the development our Local Government and and my achievements in previous official duties. I hereby call on everyone to join hands with me to take Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA to a greater height.
“In view of my sound educational background, professional qualifications and excellent performance in Community Development Association (CDA) programs with monumental positive landmarks as the immediate past chairman of Community Development Committee (CDC); I remain the best man to be the next chairman of IBLCDA.
