Nottingham Forest have beaten Manchester City at the City Ground.
Pep Guardiola’s side made the trip to the East Midlands knowing a win would lift them above Forest into third place in the Premier League table, further strengthening their grip on a place in the top four and Champions League qualification.
But a late defeat thanks to Callum Hudson-Odoi’s goal sees City fall four points behind their rivals, who have defied the odds this season to put themselves firmly in the race to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
Ederson made a strong save from Hudson-Odoi earlier in the game as City’s attack struggled, but then let the late winner through his arms at the near post and City slipped to another defeat.
